Hi, my name is Robert Dibbs and I am the Owner Director of Dibbsy’s Technical Services.

Dibbsy’s Technical Services started in 2012 when I started filling vending machine for a neighbour who was going overseas for a couple of weeks, and they asked if I could fill their machines whilst away. When they returned, they found that their machines operated more efficiently and had less mechanical and breakdown issues than before they left. This was due to my technical aptitude to see and hear anomalies with electrical and mechanical devices. So as apart from filling the machines, I performed preventive maintenance on them and the machines didn’t breakdown. My neighbour was absolutely delighted and asked me to look after all his machines and therefore Dibbsy’s Technical Services was born.

The business has grown into a successful business, built on the principals of excellence and getting the job repair right the first time with the highest quality of work and parts at the best possible price.

My technical background is an electrical fitter – mechanic starting in 1979 to 1982 at Email, Westinghouse in Sydney, worked at David Jones in all sorts of industries such as Mainframe Computers 1982 to 1993, Computer Networking & Cabling 1993 to 1996, Galaxy Pay TV, Telstra repairing mobile phones, Motorola also repairing mobile phones.

I strive to attend to all jobs on the same day, but this is not always possible to do. I guarantee to attend your machine within 24 hours of receiving notice of the breakdown as I understand that your income suffers when your machine is not working.  I carry a range of refurbished fridge decks in stock to speed up the repair process, which in most instances allows the machine to be repaired on the first visit, see list below:

All refrigeration repairs are outsourced to Coldvend Pty Ltd in Somerville – Refrigeration Licence Number AU: 04346 who specialise in vending machine repairs, & can 95% of the time repair the fridge deck overnight (providing parts are in stock).

I supply quality MEI coin mechanisms and note readers at a competitive price and can have them repaired usually the same day (Providing Parts availability in stock) and time of day, but have loan coin mechanisms whilst repairs are done to reduce time. I have most the note reader updaters for the up and coming new polymer notes MEI, NRI Cashcode, ICT, PTI Pyramid.

I can provide technical advice on pre-purchase of vending machines and servicing. Provide an ongoing preventative maintenance program for your vending machine fleet, for the older machines I can supply and retrofit LED Lighting to your machines at a competitive price.
